She has a diverse background in executive health care administration, project management and health IT consulting. Jeanette couples an extensive operational healthcare background with a passion for applying technology and enhancing workflow efficiencies to improve quality health care.

Jeanette has a proven consulting track record of helping dozens of practices evaluate their quality projects, workflow, and optimize their systems to prepare for meaningful use, quality reporting, pay for performance , and health care reform.

She was among the first 100 recognized PCMH content experts by NCQA in the nation.

Sri BharadwajSri Bharadwaj

Sriram Bharadwaj (Sri) is Founder and COO of Business Strategix Inc and has over 25 years of Information Management Systems experience in multiple industries including healthcare. Sri has held many leadership positions in health plans and currently consults with Integrated Delivery Network (IDNs) around ACO, HIE and Clinical integration. Sri has expertise in Applications Development, Enterprise-wide IT Infrastructure and Operations. Sri is well known for his process knowledge delivering performance improvements in multiple industries during his long tenure with Deloitte in various parts of the Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA region. Sri also has expertise building products for customers through his earlier involvement with SAP AG (an ERP vendor).

Sri is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (FCGMA)(U.K), Professional, Academy of Healthcare Management (PAHM), a Six Sigma Black Belt (ASQ) and a CISSP. Sri is past committee member for the CIO Healthcare Summits and has delivered many presentations on Healthcare regulations and compliance at various conferences. Sri currently serves as Member, Privacy and Security Committee, National HIMSS, Board member, President Elect and Co-chair, Privacy and Security Forum of Southern California HIMSS and on the HIMSS Interoperability and Standards Workgroup providing thought leadership and opinion on various matters around healthcare legislation, privacy and security.

Jeff CoughlinJeff Coughlin

Senior Director, Federal & State Affairs
HIMSS North America

Jeff is the Senior Director of Federal & State Affairs at HIMSS.  In this position, he leads HIMSS’ efforts to build stronger relationships with federal agencies and facilitates the building of a nationwide network of advocates for state-based initiatives that impact all aspects of health IT. 

Before joining HIMSS, Jeff was the team leader for corporate accounts at the Marwood Group, where he worked with non-profit health systems, health IT vendors, professional societies, and trade associations, analyzing where they could most effectively influence legislative and regulatory processes and focus their advocacy efforts.  

His career also included several years in the health care non-profit advocacy world, where he led efforts in policy development, directed outreach to Congress and Executive Branch agencies, built advocacy coalitions with like-minded organizations, and created robust grassroots networks.  He also worked for the Department of Health and Human Services, where he was part of the team responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the Government Performance and Results Act within the Department.

His educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the College of William & Mary and a BA in Political Science from Providence College. 

Sarah GardnerSarah Gardner

Sarah Gardner is the Associate Vice President of Healthcare System Development for Evergreen Health Services, a Buffalo, NY-based organization that provides medical, behavioral, and supportive services for Western New York’s marginalized populations—especially people with chronic disease, like HIV, substance use and addictions, and the LGBTQ community.

Ms. Gardner serves as the facilitator of the Safety Net Association of Primary Care Affiliated Providers (SNAPCAP), a group that advocates for its 14 WNY members – collectively serving over 200,000 patients, addressing policy-level concerns, and offering a forum for information-sharing, learning, and collaborative initiatives.

A distinguished speaker on collaborative care for high-risk and high-need patients, Ms. Gardner has shared her expertise at events around the country: National Association of Chronic Disease Directors; Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Aligning Forces for Quality; University of Michigan; University of South Florida; Mid-Atlantic Association of Community Health Centers; and the Lord & Taylor Speaker Series.

Prior to her work at Evergreen, Ms. Gardner served as Vice President of Benefits and Employee Relations for Prodigy Healthy Group, and as Senior Consultant for Aetna. She was featured in USA Today and CFO Magazine for her dedication to fostering healthcare consumerism in her employee groups.

Deidre Keeves, PT 

Director of Health IT Adoption & Engagement
UCLA Health

Deidre Keeves is the director of health IT adoption and engagement. She is responsible for developing and managing health technology readiness and engagement programs that are aimed at ensuring safe and efficient use of clinical information technology. This responsibility includes engaging staff and faculty to leverage technology solutions for maximizing patient safety, improving delivery of care, advancing quality outcomes, and enhancing the patient experience at UCLA. Keeves has a passion for mobile technology and is currently leading teams to develop and implement smartphone and tablet applications that will be used by UCLA's physicians and patients.

Keeves is a licensed physical therapist and has worked at UCLA Health for 15 years. She has provided patient care and leadership in a variety of inpatient and outpatient clinical settings at UCLA. For the past four years she has been dedicated to help transform the delivery of care through developing, implementing, and optimizing the CareConnect electronic health record program. 

Clark KegleyClark Kegley 

Assistant Vice President, Information Services

Clark Kegley works at Scripps Health as the Asst. Vice President of Information Services. He has been with Scripps for more than 16 years and prior to that was a technology consultant working on large scale implementations and interface development within Healthcare.

Over the years he has held positions such as Chief Information Officer (interim) and Director of IS Operations as well as owned his own consulting firm specializing in healthcare interfaces between clinical systems including selling a healthcare interfacing toolset commercially. Clark also serves as the immediate past President of the Southern California Chapter of HIMSS.

He holds degrees in Economics & Computer Systems. He is a Fellow of the Advisory Board Company, Healthcare Executives Track, ITIL certified and a certified Remedy Administrator & Developer.

Clark has been married for nearly 32 years to Leslie and has two grown Sons, Joshua and Daniel. His passion is spending time with his family on the Colorado River where they boat in the summer and dune buggy, quad and motorcycle ride in the winter along with their dogs Rio & Harley.

Pat MulbergerPatricia Korolog Mulberger, MSN, RN-BC

Patricia Mulberger began her informatics career as the project manager for an order entry implementation in a small rural facility in Montana in 1995.  After implementing both clinical and financial systems Pat transitioned to informatics consulting in 1999.  In 2001 she returned to a more stable hospital-based role in HIT.  She obtained her Masters in Nursing with a clinical informatics focus in October of 2011 and was ANCC certified in Nursing Informatics in March of 2012.  Pat has spoken at several international conferences and presented her capstone project on educating end-users at ANIA's (American Nursing Informatics Association) International Conference.  Her most recent publication was in AONE's "The Voice of Nursing Leadership" in November, 2014.  She is also a board member and the West Region Director for ANIA.

Ian SladeIan Slade, RN, MBA, PMP

Ian Slade is co-founder and managing partner of I&T Consulting Group, a healthcare innovations and technology company. He has served as a registered nurse in many capacity since 1999 and most of his experience has been in the Emergency Department, Critical Care and the Peri-Operative Area. Ian has many years experience in Healthcare Informatics beginning with his first EMR implementation in 2002 and has been actively working in this arena ever since. He has worked as a consultant in multiple hospitals throughout the United States, with clients in Canada and the United Kingdom as well. He is currently consulting on ICD-10 implementation, Revenue Cycle Optimization, and CDI improvement initiative.

Ian is passionate about his role as VP of SoCal HIMSS Advocacy and though his team’s effort, has earned twice the HIMSS Presidential Award for his work in Advocacy. Much of his time is spent meeting with legislators and representative and advocating for healthcare IT for the benefit of the industry.

Dan WebergDaniel Weberg, PhD, MHI, RN 

Director, Nursing Innovation

Dan Weberg is a nurse leader and expert in human-centered patient design and simulation and healthcare innovation with extensive clinical experience in the emergency department, acute in-patient hospital settings, and academia over past 10 years. Have held a variety of leadership roles, including nursing director, clinical faculty director, consultant, and direct nursing care in emergency departments, academic medical centers, large colleges of nursing, and private educational firms. Extensive experience developing nursing technology strategy, collaborating with executive sponsors and key stakeholder groups, doing ground up collaboration with frontline nursing and care delivery teams, and leading and influencing teams at unit level, hospital-wide, and across health systems to lead and sustain innovative technology, informatics and education change initiatives.

He earned his Bachelors in nursing, and was in the first cohort to graduate from the Masters in Healthcare Innovation and PhD in Nursing and Healthcare Innovation Leadership from Arizona State University. This makes Dan a chronic Sun Devil. Dan’s clinical background is in Emergency and Trauma nursing at level 1 trauma centers in California and Arizona. Dan is also faculty at Ohio State University College of Nursing and taught previously at Arizona State University in the subject of Innovation, Nursing and Leadership. In his free time Dan enjoys triathlons.

Joseph Wolfgram is the Chief Technology Officer at Hoag Hospital located in Newport Beach, California. With more than 25 years of IT experience, Joseph was the founder of a successful software development company in 1991 and has led many organizations through growth and revitalization of their IT infrastructure and operations. He has served as the chief executive for Technology and Information Security in healthcare, higher education, and non-profit organizations including the University of Miami, the University of Washington and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle.
