There are many opportunities to get involved with your HIMSS SoCal Chapter! We encourage all levels of participation and engagement – have fun joining a committee such as Programs and help to coordinate our phenomenal events, or possibly our Academic Alliance Committee to support and encourage students in our industry to get involved.
Our volunteers enjoy their participation in our Committees: Advocacy, Financial, Marketing and Communications, Membership, Programs & Events, Sponsorship, Patient Engagement. You can also contribute by sharing your expertise and knowledge around subject areas that are valuable to our Members. In our Quarterly Newsletter, we look for content rich articles in the areas of Patient Engagement (The Connected Patient), Privacy and Security, and CXO Insight (CXO Corner), to highlight a few of our Feature sections. We also encourage our Organizational Affiliates to share their Organizational Member experiences.
