2015 Texas Regional HIMSS Conference |
The Texas Chapters of HIMSS will hold a one and a half day educational conference in Austin, Texas on February 18th - 20th, 2015. The theme of this year’s conference is “Keep Healthcare Weird Wired”. This is our 7th Annual Regional Conference and we anticipate over 400 healthcare IT professionals to attend. We are also offering an optional pre-conference activity on Wednesday (2/18). We will be visiting the Texas State Capitol to meet with legislative staff promoting the value of investing in Health Information Technology. Afterward, we will hold a networking social in the Exhibit Hall from 6 - 8 pm. We encourage you to get involved and sign up for the office visits! In January, we will be offering orientation webinars that will provide details on the legislative office visits, discuss expectations and offer other helpful tips on how to make these meetings as productive as possible.
