The Road to Austin

Join other health care technology professionals as we head to Austin to advocate for key Health Information Technology issues to help create safer and more efficient health care systems. The day will include visits with Texas legislators to discuss and promote our topics, speaker and panel presentations and will wrap up with a networking social in the evening. Key topics of importance include cybersecurity, interoperability and syndromic surveillance for viruses such as Zika. Speakers will discuss topics such as the Immunization Registry Bill, Opioid Abuse, Precision Medicine, the Cancer moonshot and the 21st Century Cures Act.
