Federal and State Health IT Policy Outlook
The Maryland Chapter of the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) is pleased to announce our 13th Annual Health IT Day in Maryland on Thursday, January 23rd, 2020. This event provides a forum for discussion of both Federal and State of Maryland Health IT Policy initiatives to improve the health of Marylanders and others whom we serve through information and technology. You will have the opportunity to meet and network with national experts on both federal and state public policy as well as leaders from healthcare provider organizations, health care commissions, information sharing organizations, and business partners. Legislators from the Maryland General Assembly, including the House of Delegates and the State Senate, along with the Office of Governor Hogan, have been invited to join in the dialogue surrounding how we can leverage technology to help transform the delivery of healthcare in Maryland.
