Speaker - Janet Steinwedel, PhD

Dr. Steinwedel Biography

Dr. Steinwedel has her PhD in Human and Organizational Systems. She is first and foremost an executive coach who supports leaders in finding their sweet spot, honing leadership skills, and being at their authentic best. Her 30 years of experience with leaders has primarily been in healthcare, pharmaceutical and biotech organizations supporting a variety of disciplines.

Her depth of experience strengthens her ability to provide other coaches guidance in continuously skilling up to work effectively in today’s complex organizations. She has authored three books in the last five years in support of this discipline. She's been a contributing author for Global Business & Organizational Excellence journal, and Nursing.

Janet facilitates retreats as well as coaching individuals, teams and groups. Her latest book details the year-long group process she’s designed and delivers for leader development in organizations. She provides consultation on Cross-Cultural Working, Talent Management and Corporate Coaching Programs.

Prior to starting Leader’s Insight in 2005, Janet was Sr Director of Leadership and Business Effectiveness at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals (Executive Coaching, Leadership Development, Organization Development and Diversity); and the AVP Leadership & Organization Development at Delaware Investments.

Janet is a long-time member of the Philadelphia Society of People & Strategy, where she leads the Executive Coaching Special Interest Group. She teaches in Villanova University’s MSHRD program. She swims, plays golf, enjoys her grandchildren and loves to travel.
