Speakers

Michele Maasberg, PhD, Louisiana Tech
Dr. Michele Maasberg currently holds the Herbert H. McElveen Endowed Professorship at Louisiana Tech University in the department of Computer Information Systems. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology and M.S. in Information Technology-Information Assurance from The University of Texas at San Antonio, and B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD. She previously
worked with the DoD as a civilian in IT/cyber security on the electronic health record (with experience as an information assurance manager holding Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). She also served on active duty and has a secret clearance. 

Michael Richmond, CISSP, RSA/CSE, CCSFP
Michael is an accomplished IT professional with over 20 years of experience providing healthcare entities with cybersecurity consulting, computer forensics, and advanced IT design and implementation services. Michael Richmond is the Director of Technology Services with P&N. He has been with the firm since July of 2001, and has also held the positions of Director of Engineering and Senior Network Engineer. He currently leads technology and cybersecurity services for the firm. 

Jeff D. Bennett, CISSP, CISA, CCSFP, PMP
Jeff is an Associate Director in the P&N Consulting Services Group. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a senior manager in a “big four” professional advisory firm. He has 12+ years of IT audit and risk management experience, with the last 7 in progressive leadership roles managing geographically diverse teams on complex operational and compliance related internal control and security projects.
