Guests should arrive at the Plaza Level of the James H. "Sloppy" Floyd Building and check in
with security at the WEST Tower (they require ID; tell them you are going to the Empire Room
on the 20th Floor.) Use the elevator bank behind the mural to go to the 20th Floor. Follow appropriate signs to the room.
SPECIAL GUEST: Jeff Coughlin - Senior Director, Federal & State Affairs: Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS)
Jeff is the Senior Director of Federal & State Affairs at HIMSS. In this position, he leads HIMSS’ efforts to build stronger relationships with federal agencies and facilitates the building of a nationwide network of advocates for state-based initiatives that impact all aspects of health IT. His educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the College of William & Mary and a BA in Political Science from Providence College.
