**The event is located on the 60th floor of the US Steel Tower. Advanced registration is required for access.**

Building Security & Check-In Instructions: Once you enter the U.S. Steel Tower, proceed to the escalators to the second floor lobby. Head toward the security desk. Photo ID must be provided to be granted access to the building. Proceed through the gates to the elevator bank for the 60th floor. Press 6-0 on the elevator keypad on the outside of the elevator and wait for the assigned letter to show on the screen. Continue to the assigned elevator letter and you will be taken to the 60th floor. Once you arrive on the 60th floor, the Center for Connected Medicine is through the double glass doors.

Parking Information: Parking in the USX building is available for $7 after 5PM. Parking is also available at Chatham Center for $6 after 5PM.

About the Speaker: As Chief Innovation Officer for UPMC, a $20B world-renowned health care provider and insurer based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Rasu B. Shrestha plays a leading role in driving UPMC's innovation strategy, serving as a catalyst for transforming the organization into a more patient-focused and economically sustainable system. Dr. Shrestha also serves as an Executive Vice President of UPMC Enterprises, working to facilitate new health care intelligence, technology expertise and entrepreneurial drive to solve complex health care challenges.

Prior to leading innovation at UPMC, Dr. Shrestha served as Vice President of Information Technology and was Medical Director of Interoperability and Imaging Informatics at UPMC. Before joining UPMC, Dr. Shrestha was Informatics Director at the University of Southern California, where he was also Professor of Radiology Research at the Keck School of Medicine.

Dr. Shrestha received his medical degree from CCS University in India, completed his fellowship in informatics from the University of London, and earned his MBA from the University of Southern California. He was recently recognized as “Executive of the Year” by Healthcare Dive, and was acknowledged as one of the “Top 20 Health IT Leaders Driving Change” and as a “Top Healthcare Innovator” by InformationWeek.
