This years focus will be health IT and the COVID-19 vaccine distribution effort in Maryland. We will kick off the event with members of the Maryland General Assembly then dive into a brief overview of health IT legislation being considered this year. Speakers from Johns Hopkins and MedStar Health will then discuss their efforts to distribute and track the COVID-19 vaccine, followed by a panel discussion that includes representatives from CRISP.
Agenda
  • 12:00pm - 12:30pm: Opening remarks, Kathryn Whitmore, MD HIMSS President, along with the Governor's Proclamation and remarks from legislators.
  • 12:30pm - 1:15pm: Presentations from Johns Hopkins and MedStar Health.
  • 1:15pm - 1:30pm: Panel discussion moderated by Ross Martin including representatives from CRISP.
