Bob Dichter Founder and Principal of Manage My Career Search | Bob Dichter is the founder and Principal of Manage My Career Search, a career mentoring service, in addition to his work as a healthcare technology strategist. As the President of the Hair Club for Men states, “I’m not just the President, but I’m a client”, this applies to Bob as well. Years ago, when early in his career, he was having difficulties finding a job – he couldn’t well articulate what he did and why someone would want to hire him, so he created a process that has been very effective for himself but also for numerous others as well. As someone that has worked in numerous start-ups, Bob has also needed to look numerous times for jobs and has been fortunate to have worked with several Career Coaches and an outplacement firm. These professionals have helped Bob really refine the networking process and he has become known in New England HIMSS as the guy that knows everyone. Well…maybe a slight exaggeration, but Bob is connected to over 4000 people on LinkedIn. Over the years, Bob has advised 100’s of people either starting out their career in health IT or transitioning into the field and created his professional mentoring service when he realized that he could shorten the time it was taking for people to find a job. | |
