Program Details:

The proliferation of data is transforming the way we address sickness and disease in this country. We are increasingly able to identify patient populations for whom care is costly and develop personalized approaches to action that improves outcomes and lowers costs.  We’ll talk about the value chains driven by the availability of data for retrospective analytics, real-time intelligence, and development of predictive analytic models. This conversation will involve agency officials across government who are leveraging unique data sets to analyze populations (Medicare, Medicaid, and veterans) and develop personal health and wellness strategies as well as care management strategies to lower costs. It will include agency program officials leveraging data for bio-surveillance, surfacing illnesses in real-time that permit rapid response by authorities, and using post-market pharmaceutical data to improve the efficacy of drug treatments.
