Communities across the globe are investing public and private resources with the intent of creating Smart cities, communities, and nations.  Often driven by the demands of urbanization or the need to modernize systems and services, a growing number of communities are leveraging 21st Century technologies that will benefit citizens by improving the health and wellbeing of citizens.  This webinar will cover case studies from Finland that demonstrate the evolution of integrated smart health solutions such as Smart Hospitals, Smart Communities, Smart Homes that are crafted to address health imperatives, for example mental health and access to care.

The discussion will be led by Kaisu Sutinen and Juha Paakkola with Health Capital Helsinki, which is tasked to make the Greater Helsinki area one of the best places in the world for health and life science companies, research initiatives and investments.  They will introduce case studies that illustrate the challenges of urbanization and how public and private partners are working together to evolve towards ever smarter and inherently human-centric communities.
