Health Information Exchange (HIE) is an important tool to help you be successful in reducing redundant tests and procedures, facilitating efficient transitions of care, making diagnoses and care decisions based on more complete patient information at the point of care, and in supporting new accountable care and patient-centered medical home care models.  The New Mexico Health Information Collaborative (NMHIC) invites you to attend our first annual HIE Users' Conference to participate in meaningful presentations and thoughtful discussions about the benefits, challenges, and solutions for interoperability and exchange of health information in New Mexico and surrounding communities.
