An award-winning featured speaker for contact center best practices, with expertise in access optimization, Melissa has led centralization of primary and specialty care scheduling at UW Medicine and Virginia Mason. As a Senior Director at UW Medicine, her 200-agent organization was recognized by the Patient Access Collaborative with the coveted Award of Excellence in 2016 and Best Practice award for employee engagement in 2019. She currently serves as a Senior Consultant for Tegria.

Idan Eckstein

Change Management & Education Specialist

Idan is a Change Management & Education Specialist with 13 years of experience in healthcare education transformation. He is an expert in training management, including environment design and preparation, as well as eLearning and classroom training. As the Asst. Director of Ambulatory Orientation and Training at NYU, Idan was responsible for leading multiple policy committees to review, establish and improve best practices and policies. This led him to define and develop operations programs and policies to ensure alignment with the Medical Center’s strategic plan. Idan successfully completed Patient Experience at the Ritz Carlton, led Creating a Sustainable Culture at the Disney Institute in 2014, and was a speaker at XGM 2015. He partners with leadership and stakeholders at many levels across the organization to identify opportunities to improve the patient experience and technical literacy of employees.

Gardy Excellent

Senior Consultant, Patient Access Centers

Gardy’s 200-seat contact center at the University of Miami Health System was recognized for "Best Strategic Value to the Organization" at the 2014 Global Contact Center Awards sponsored by the International Customer Management Institute (ICMI). He currently serves as a Senior Consultant for Tegria.
