How to Nominate for Open Board Positions:

• Reminder: Nomination period closes on May 15th.
• Email a request for a nomination form and for a complete description of each role to Oklahoma.President@HIMSSChapter.org
• The nomination form will ask for:
  • Which position(s) you are interested in.
  • Basic information such as name, member ID, email address, etc.
  • A headshot or photo along with a brief bio or resume
  • Personal statement that describes how you will contribute to the Chapter and the Board of Directors.
    • The statement should help us understand your qualifications and interest in the desired position(s).

• Officers up for election (requires 1 year board experience)
  • President
  • President-Elect
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
• Committee Chairs up for election
  • Communications
  • Local Advocacy Liaison
  • Nursing Informatics Liaison
  • Professional Development and Education

  • Student Volunteer
  • Web Design
