CHIMSS Advocacy Day at the Colorado State Capitol

Theme:  Bringing Focus to the Colorado Health IT Roadmap

Morning Sessions

8AM-12PM:  Old Supreme Court Chambers, Capitol Bldg, 200 E. Colfax Ave.

Lunch & Afternoon Sessions

12:30-3PM: Scottish Rite Denver Consistory, 1370 Grant St.

After a networking breakfast, attend our morning session where the OeHI and eHealth Commission will moderate panels on the following prioritized Roadmap Initiatives:

• Patient Access to eHealth Information

• Care Continuum

• Unique Patient Identifiers

Conclude the morning with “Colorado’s Health IT Roadmap:  Key Points to Take With You.”

During lunch, our Legislators will speak to health IT-related activity and bills and we will listen to the personal stories of actual patients facing challenges in Colorado. Finally, we will wrap up with a panel that discusses “Are We a Disaster-Ready Community?”
