Utah HIMSS Sponsors Games4Health 2017 - Judges Wanted

Utah Chapter of HIMSS is proud to sponsor Games4Health 2017, a global student game design competition, hosted by the University of Utah’s Sorenson Center for Discovery & Innovation. Games4Health challenges students and teams to design a game or app that promotes health. Last year, over 300 students registered to compete from 70 universities and 12 different countries.

“Games4Health student submissions showcase innovative ideas that promote healthy patient outcomes. We are excited to see how technology will continue to evolve to solve the most difficult challenges our healthcare systems face, namely improving patient outcomes and reducing total cost. UHIMSS’ mission is to promote better health through IT and we are proud to sponsor Games4Health”, Chase Titensor, UHIMSS Communications Chair.

Games4Health is currently looking for professionals to help judge student submissions. If you are interested, please contact Chase Titensor for information (chase.titensor@t2c.com).
