2019 will be a year of firsts for the Wisconsin Chapter of HIMSS.

Not only are we hosting an inaugural event in Q1 and presenting a new structure for our Annual Spring Leadership Conference next May (more on that below!), but you'll notice a key word omitted in the first sentence of this email.

We're now the Wisconsin Chapter of HIMSS. "Dairyland" is no longer part of our lexicon. Minor? Yes, but we thought we'd try to avoid surprises. Please update any saved addresses you might have in your directories

STEM Forward’s Wisconsin Regional Future City Competition

Join ambitious middle school students as they create cities of tomorrow. The next Future City competition is on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at MSOE's Kern Center and we’re looking for judges and mentors as students present their virtual city. Please email Kim Pemble if interested.

Border Battle No More

We're off to the races in Q1. After most of you are all wrapped with HIMSS National in Orlando, we're buckling down and getting something on the calendar that'll be new to everyone.

The HIMSS Minnesota and HIMSS Wisconsin Chapters are teaming up for their first ever joint event in Hudson, WI on Thursday, March 28th, 2019. Mark your calendars and get ready to network with the folks on the other side of the Mississippi.

Annual Spring Leadership Conference

For the first time ever, we're hosting track sessions. We grew the event considerably last year and are hoping to have even more descend upon the Dells to learn from some of the greatest minds in healthcare.

Our theme for 2019 is Patient Engagement/Patient Experience and our keynote speaker, Raj Nijhawan, is back by popular demand!

Looking Back

Q4 featured a networking event at HotelRED in Madison, WI. Bluetree sponsored the event and had employees Austin Brandt and Daniel Fleisher present on patient access strategies and implementing patient access centers.
