HIMSS Southern California Chapter is pleased offer the CAHIMS review course and exam this year.

To qualify to take the CAHIMS examination and earn CAHIMS certification, you must have earned a high school diploma or its equivalent.

The Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS) is designed for emerging professionals who may or may not have experience within the industry. CAHIMS is designed to be a pathway for careers in health IT.

This Review Course will provide an interactive and fast-paced survey to aid in the knowledge transfer process, and is an excellent review of each topic, ensuring you are familiar with all areas covered by the CAHIMS exam. Limited Time Special Offer!

For a limited number of persons who attend the course, register for and successfully pass the CAHIMS exam offered onsite, the chapter will reimburse $100 of the exam fee. Funds and space are limited, and on first-come, first-serve basis. Please register early to secure a seat. Available to members only. 

Registration

Please note that you may take the Review Course without taking the Exam. However, if you plan to take the exam, you must register for it by November 3, 2015. You will be sent an Eligibility Application to confirm your eligibility to sit for the exam. This form must also be completed and submitted by November 3.
