This program is designed to equip HIMSS chapters with the knowledge and available tools and resources to execute a successful professional certification education program within your chapter.

Mara Daiker, Senior Director, Professional Development, will host a webinar to educate chapter leaders and volunteers on executing successful certification review course programs. The objectives of this webinar are;

• • describe the purpose of the HIMSS professional certification program
  • review the application, examination and recertification processes
  • define the train the trainer program
  • orient trainers to the materials available to them
  • define best practices for conducting review courses

At the conclusion of the webinar, attendees will receive access to all materials used during HIMSS-facilitated review courses (including access to all future updates of these materials). The goal of the session is to share best practices and materials with you, so that as a chapter you can be successful in supporting your members in their pursuit of certification.
