We have many exciting options for you to experience as we host our first ever, two-day conference. Activities include our 11^th Annual Maryland HIMSS Golf Tournament on May 22^nd, an evening of cocktails and networking followed by dinner, reduced room rates to stay overnight at the beautiful Turf Valley Resort, and the return of our full day, in-person education and networking events on May 23^rd.

Our educational program kicks off with a continental breakfast and keynote address followed by your choice of joining presentations and panel discussions in one of two tracks: Track A: Tackling Workforce Strategy or Track B: Embracing Technology and Innovation

Registration and breakfast begin at 7am both days.

Provider and Student Pricing

Health care provider/student pricing is offered exclusively to full time employees/students registering with a valid employer/academic email address based on the generosity of our sponsors. Employees of non-provider businesses are not eligible for provider/student pricing. Maryland HIMSS reserves the right to confirm eligibility for provider/student pricing. Policy details are on the conference registration page.

People working for any company that provides a product or service to the healthcare industry including consultants, staffing resources or solutions are not eligible for the provider rate.  Maryland HIMSS reserves the right to determine eligibility and if the registration is denied will refund the entry fee minus a $10 processing fee. Registration is non-refundable. Registrant can send a substitute and that information should be provided at least 1 week in advance.

Special Opportunity for a Sponsored Table 

MDHIMSS is offering the opportunity for you to sponsor a table for your clients. The table will be in a premier location up front and close to our presenters.  It will be reserved for your invitees, and will feature your company logo.  Your guests can gather together exclusively for breakfast, the keynote address, and lunch.  Additionally, the table will be yours for the entire day of education (education sessions will be split into two rooms).  There are a limited number of sponsor tables so please see the registration page to purchase your table soon.

Note: Golf is a networking event made possible through the generous support of our sponsors, therefore, provider foursomes will be divided into twosomes and paired with a sponsor. 

Golf spots are limited to 35 provider players on a first come first serve basis. 

Charity Connection  

MDHIMSS is pleased to support Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) as our charity beneficiary during the Inaugural Two-Day Conference and 11th Annual Golf Tournament. HCH works to end homelessness through racially equitable health care, housing, and advocacy. Serving 10,000 neighbors annually, HCH runs three outpatient clinics, a mobile clinic, convalescent care and an outreach team. We will be raising money and collecting needed items for the charity both days of the event. 

Below is the list of items we will be collecting for their Street Survival Kits. These items make life on the streets just a little more manageable. Place some or all of the following items in a drawstring bag, backpack or gallon-size Ziploc bag:

• Energy bars/trail mix/dried fruit
• Gift card for food (Subway, Dunkin' Donuts and McDonald's sell
 $5 cards)
• Toothbrush & toothpaste
