Overview:

Patient Registration and the Admission process play an important role in The Patient Journey. This particular event initiates the process of gathering crucial patient information for the Healthcare organization while also impacting one of the patient’s first experiences with the organization. At this stop in the journey we’ll discuss the relevance of these functions and potential solutions and technologies to facilitate each operation.

 

Panelists:

David Flynn, Corporate Security Advisors

David M. Flynn, CCEP, CFE is a seasoned security executive and consulting practice leader with 15 years of experience in Corporate Security and Human Resources. He has spent most of his career developing and optimizing security programs through assessments and gap analysis with a focus on continuous improvement and scalability. As Managing Director, Corporate Security Consulting at Corporate Security Advisors, LLC, he advises clients on Corporate Security, Investigations, Workplace Violence Prevention and Threat Assessment. David formerly worked in Senior Security Leadership roles at Discover Financial Services and Bank of America in the financial space. As a Senior Director at Jensen Hughes, he consulted with clients in the technology, manufacturing, logistics, pharma, automotive and healthcare sectors. David is currently serving as the Interim Chief Security Officer for Glencoe Regional Health Systems.

 

 


Andrew Peterson, Manager of Applications, Corporate Security, Allina Health

Andrew Peterson is an accomplished security professional with 15 years of experience in Corporate Security at Allina Health and holds an MBA from St. Cloud State University. Andrew’s role includes managing $30+ million in capitol projects specifically focused on enhancing and standardizing security technology deployments across all of Allina Health.

 

 

 

 


Steve Bollinger, Director of Healthcare Technology

Steve Bollinger has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare space beginning his career in clinical radiology as a supervisor of an interventional cardiac catheterization lab and assisstant radiology department manager. He left clinical healthcare and entered the technical sales arena holding leadership positions in Fortune 500 and multiple healthcare technology start-up companies. Steve's most recent experience in the location services arena (both software and hardware sales and service) informs his view that a systems integration approach that incorporates the fundamental building blocks of health care, from equipment and technology to clinical insight and workflow processes, is needed to take the next major leap in improving quality and safety. More specifically, a systems integrator is needed in health care.

 

 


Janette Evans, Director of Vertical Market Development for Healthcare, Vector Flow

Janette Evans is Director of Vertical Market Development for Healthcare at Vector Flow. In this role, she partners with healthcare organizations across North America to help solve their physical identity and access management challenges. Janette is passionate about helping healthcare organizations harness the power of their data to enhance security and compliance, mitigate risks, and decrease costs. Based in Dallas, Janette has been a member of the security industry for over 14 years.
