Judy Murphy, RN, FACMI, LFHIMSS, FAAN, is a nurse executive and health IT leader with a long history in health and nursing informatics.  She was Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at IBM Global Healthcare, where she built relationships and expanded business across the healthcare industry.  She was strategic advisor to clients and helped align IBM's health IT solutions for providers to improve health and healthcare, and lower costs.

Prior to working at IBM, she was CNO and Deputy National Coordinator for Programs and Policy at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) in Washington D.C.  In these roles, she led federal efforts to assist health care providers in adopting health information technology to improve care and to promote consumers’ greater understanding and use of health information technology for their own health.

Judy came to ONC with 25 years of health informatics experience at Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin, a large integrated delivery network.  As Vice President-EHR Applications, she led their Application and EHR program since 1995, when Aurora was an early adopter of health IT.

She has published over 100 articles and book chapters, and has done hundreds of presentations nationally and internationally.  She served on the AMIA and HIMSS Board of Directors and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and the American College of Medical Informatics, and is a HIMSS Lifetime Fellow.  She has received numerous awards, including the HIMSS 2018 Most Influential Women in Health IT, the AMIA 2014 Don Eugene Detmer Award for Health Policy Contributions in Informatics, the HIMSS 2014 Federal Health IT Leadership Award, and the HIMSS 2006 Nursing Informatics Leadership Award.

Geeta Nayyar, M.D., M.B.A. is a nationally recognized leader in healthcare information technology, a physician executive, a frequently sought-after public speaker, and an author with unique perspectives that bridge clinical medicine, business, communications, and digital health.

Dr. Nayyar currently serves as Executive Medical Director for Salesforce, connecting North American enterprise health systems to the technologies that empower hospitals, enhance the work of physicians, and improve patient care.

Previously, she served as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Greenway Health, a widely known vendor of health information technology services, including integrated electronic health records, practice management tools, and revenue cycle management software. She has also held the role of Chief Healthcare and Innovation Officer (CHIO) for Femwell Group Health, Inc., one of the largest management services organizations in the state of Florida that includes about 700 physicians. Prior to this, Dr. Nayyar was Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) of AT&T, where she provided subject matter expertise, thought leadership, and strategic direction for the multinational company’s health division.

Dr. Nayyar has held several positions in media and with professional societies, including as the host of “Topline MD TV,” a digital medical news channel catering to South Florida consumers, and as a member of the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) board of directors.

As a specialist in rheumatology, Dr. Nayyar maintains active practice and faculty affiliation with the University of Miami and serves on the University of Miami Medical School Alumni Association Board.

In her free time, she enjoys volunteering and helping train medical students at the University of Miami Mitchell Wolfson Sr. Department of Community Service (DOCS). This program is dedicated to caring for underserved and medically disadvantaged populations of counties in South Florida. The DOCS program has brought health screening and educational services to over 1500 patients annually through the volunteer efforts of over 250 medical students and 50 physicians.

Dr. Nayyar also enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her daughter and family.

Lygeia Ricciardi has been at the vanguard of the digital patient engagement movement for over a decade. She has helped to grow several entrepreneurial ventures, including Carium, a platform to connect patients and providers virtually, which she supports in the areas of patient engagement and thought leadership.

Previously, she set up and led national programs and policy development related to consumers and digital health through the US Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) and the Federal Communications Commision (FCC).

Lygeia was recently named one of the Most Influential Women in Health IT by HIMSS, and among the Most Powerful Women in HIT by HealthData Management. She is a HIMSS Digital Influencer, a frequent blogger and speaker, and has been featured by C-SPAN, the Wall Street Journal, NPR, and Consumer Reports.
