July 2015 Austin HIMSS Newsletter

Message from the Chapter President > >

As the newly elected President of the Austin HIMSS Chapter Board of Directors, I am both humbled and excited to have the opportunity to work with dedicated professionals in health IT. Over the course of the next year, the Austin HIMSS Board Members and I will be focused on the urgency to get up, get out and get going -- to improve healthcare. We can either watch from the sidelines or be involved in the evolutionary changes in healthcare. My team and I choose to be part of a solution and desire to make a significant contribution by impacting our healthcare system in a positive way. I look forward to exchanging ideas with Austin HIMSS members and I encourage members to actively participate in our Chapter. Because together we can make a difference!

Jack Walker, Chapter President
