2019 is now behind us, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be a flurry of events over the next few months at the Wisconsin Chapter of HIMSS. First, we’d like to thank those who attended our two fall regional networking events in Madison and Milwaukee. Our events wouldn’t be successful without you!

Section 2: Looking Back

November 2019 Madison Regional Networking Event

Wisconsin HIMSS members joined Nordic’s Kevin Erdal on “Navigating the Cloud.” Kevin walked through how to decide what you may want to move to the cloud, when it makes sense to move, and why you may want to move (now or later).

December 2019 Milwaukee Regional Networking Event

We gathered at Versiti Blood Research Institute in Milwaukee to hear Wipfli’s Tom Wojcinski explain how MDR platforms function as well as how they can be used to enhance an organization’s cybersecurity posture, especially related to identifying events that threaten the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of ePHI.

Section 3: Sponsor Spotlight

Before we dive into our sponsor spotlight for this quarter, we thought now would be a good time to direct you toward our new sponsorship benefits webpage. While the benefits are largely the same, now might be a good time to review to see if you're effectively leveraging your benefits and decide whether a different sponsorship tier is for you. Email WI HIMSS Director of Sponsors, John Pollard, with any questions.
