In 2015, Congress changed how physicians are paid by Medicare. The program started January 1, 2017. But the new Administration and Congress have promised change in healthcare. What may happen? What should we do to prepare? 

Come to HIMSS and review the MACRA-MIPS table that has been set by the law and the context of the changes that are promised. What is most important for health IT?

As Vice President, Medical Transformation at Quorum Health Resources, Robert Teague, MD works with Quorum’s clients to change how health happens, based on his extensive executive experience working with physicians and healthcare organizations to achieve sustainable results. Dr. Teague is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine, and maintains a focus on healthcare process improvement while leveraging technology for quality patient outcomes and improved productivity. These interests have manifested in numerous leadership roles within physician private practices, academic medical centers, large and small hospitals, and entrepreneurial businesses.
