Session Description:
Prescription drug addiction is a growing epidemic in this country. Learn how using analytics, morphine equivalency and overlapping prescription metrics can be used to find over prescribing providers, apathetic pharmacies and identify patients in need of intervention.
Session Presenter: Jason Helmandollar, Lead Business Analyst @ Pulselight
Jason Helmandollar is nationally recognized as an expert in Medicaid fraud, having previously served as Special Projects Supervisor with Ohio’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU). During his tenure, Mr. Helmandollar worked with the National Association of Medicaid Fraud Control Units and participated in 50+ national pharmaceutical/pharmacy cases, resulting in billions of dollars in recoveries to the Medicaid program. Prior to the Ohio MFCU, Mr. Helmandollar was a US Border Patrol Agent in Laredo, Texas. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from the Ohio State University.
