Once again your HIMSS Chapter is serving its members! Health IT Week is September 26-30, 2016. The purpose of NYS Health IT Week, which coincides with National Health IT week, is to increase awareness of health information technology. The resolution helps formalize and validate the importance of Health IT in healthcare.

Susan Rueckwald, NYS HIMSS Chapter Co-Secretary, worked with NYS Senator Kemp Hannon, Chair of the NYS Senate Health Committee, on the Legislative Resolution for NYS Health IT Week 2016. Congrats to Susan on her efforts in making NYS Health IT Week become a reality!
