WE NEED VOLUNTEERS - APRIL 12!
Join fellow health care technology professionals as we advocate for key Health Information Technology issues to help create safer and more efficient health care systems. Texas Health IT Day will include visits with Texas legislators to introduce and discuss important topics in the morning, speaker and panel presentations in the afternoon, and will wrap up with a networking social that evening.
We need you to join us and participate in a variety of activities planned for the day that include everything from meetings with our legislators to helping with our programs and social. We look forward to you and your colleagues joining us for a productive day in our state's capitol.
Topics of critical importance to Texans include:
- Texas Healthcare IT Update
- Federal Update
- Cybersecurity
- Telemedicine
- Zika Syndromic Surveillance
Speakers will also participate in a panel to discuss topics such as the Immunization Registry Bill, Opioid Abuse, Precision Medicine, the Cancer moonshot and the 21st Century Cures Act.

Texas Health IT day is a great opportunity to meet with Texas legislators vital to supporting the ultimate goal of health IT which is to improve the health of the patient in Texas.
